Dynavap Omni Review

Dynavap Omni Review - Best Dynavap Vaporizer Yet?

The new Omni 2021 is the latest flagship vaporizer from Dynavap. With a beautiful and tactile titanium design, an extremely durable body, and powerful vaporization capabilities, it’s easy to see why the Omni is so beloved among vaping enthusiasts. But, is the new Omni worth the hype? How does it compare to the previous Dynavap Omni? And, most importantly, should you get it?

Let’s find out.

Dynavap Omni 2021 Vaporizer Review - How Good Is It?

DynaVap Omni 2021 is a compact, resilient, high-end vaporizer compatible with both herbs and waxy concentrates.

With a compact and durable metal body, exceptional manual vaporization capabilities, and intuitive tactile navigation design, it’s easy to see why Dynavap fans place the Omni among their favorite portable vaporizers.

Vaporization features

The Omni has a manual hybrid heating system that combines both conduction and convection heat to provide efficient vaporization.

Since the Omnivap doesn’t have any electronic components, it doesn’t heat up by itself. Instead, it uses external sources of heat, like a torch lighter or an induction heater, to vaporize herbs. The Omni has a magnetic clicking system to let you know when the chamber has reached the perfect temperature.

However, this also means that there’s practically no way of setting up specific temperatures, and puts your materials in danger of overcooking if you don’t remove the Omni from the heating source quickly. To compensate for this, the Omni combines a long device, and an adjustable helical condenser tube to give you full control over the airflow, opening or restricting it to allow for cooler hits or denser clouds.

Vapor quality

Dynavap is famous for the vapor quality it offers to users. The Omni’s VapCap comes with a two-position adjust-a-bowl, that allows you to switch between vaporizing 0.1 and 0.05 grams.

Despite its small bowl size, the Dynavap is capable of powerful vaporizations, with a vapor quality on par with high-end dry herb vaporizers.

When used, the Omni will pull air through the twin turbulence airports, which extracts air and forces turbulence to better vaporize your materials. These combined with the Omni’s adjustable airflow makes it intuitively easy to adjust the vapor production to your liking.

Design

This Omnivap comes with a redesigned exterior to separate it from the previous Omni, while keeping it just as beautiful and versatile.

The spirals on the titanium design shine as you spin the VapCaps to heat them, and the tactile navigation geometry design on the stem guides your fingers to the twin turbulating airports. You can use them to create turbulence by grabbing it with your thumb over the rocker below the airports, and twisting the Vapcap back and forth as you take a draw to create turbulence.

The Omni also comes with a fully redesigned titanium tip, with two O-rings, nine heat-dissipating fans, and nine airflow notches packed in it to thoroughly cool off your vapor.

There are no electronic components and barely any moving parts to worry about. The titanium build is even more resistant than stainless steel, and makes for an extremely durable and resilient piece.

Maintenance

Like with most other vapes, the maintenance of the Omni is pretty simple. Once your materials have been fully vaporized, empty your bowl making sure the screen is clean.

After a few uses you'll also want to perform deep clean to remove all residues. To do it, simply disassemble the Dynavap, remove both o-rings, and soak the parts in alcohol. Then, you can use a cotton swab to remove any remains, rinse all pieces, and place them back together for the next session.

How to use the Dynavap Omni 2022

Using any Dynavap thermal extraction device (TED) is a lot like using a metal joint you need to relight every now and then. It all starts with your material.

If you’re using dry herbs, start by grinding them (preferably with a grinder for a coarse grind) and place them into the adjust-a-bowl. You can also vaporize waxy concentrates by using the Dynacoil.

Once you’ve loaded your material into the Omni, you can assemble the captive cap back on and get your heating device out. If you’re using a torch, you’ll want to twirl the device with a constant motion while applying your heat at the side of the chamber. You can also use convection heating devices to heat up your device.

Once you hear a click, you can take the heat off and start taking draws until you hear the click again. Then, you can keep reapplying heat until you’ve fully vaporized the herb, or put it away in your Dynastash for later.

Pros and Cons

There’s a lot to love about the new Omni. Here’s where it shines, and where it doesn’t.

Pros:

Here are the Omni’s best features:

  • Extremely durable construction

  • Great vaporization capabilities

  • Adjustable airflow for custom vapor production

  • Ultra-portable

Cons:

Here are some of the downsides of the Omni 2021:

  • Cannot vape at specific temperatures

  • Depends on an external heat source to work

  • A bit more complex to operate than the average vape pen

TL;DR: Should you get the Dynavap Omni 2021

The new Omni lives up to the hype. With a precise airflow control right at the mouthpiece, high-end design, efficient vapor cooling capabilities, and a fully redesigned tip, the Omni is one of the best dry herb vaporizers out there.

You can also purchase external adaptors to use it along with a bong, store it safely, or heat it faster and more evenly. As there are very few parts that can go wrong with Dynavap VapCaps, the Omni does not have a specific manufacturer warranty - though they are known for being very reliable.

If you loved the Dynavap Omni 2021 but the price is outside your budget, check out the Dynavap Vong and the Dynavap M. Although not as rich in features, they’re both amazing vaporizers with comparable vapor quality.

If you’re ready to get the Omni, grab it right here, and don’t forget to add a butane torch before checkout!
